This year, we were honored to welcome the amazing Klinger Sisters, reigning No. 1 in Austrian beach volleyball, Michael Kratzer, a motocross champion blazing trails in his field, and a delegation from Special Olympics Austria, whose athletes inspire us with their outstanding achievements on the global stage. As our CEO Andreas Mandl perfectly put it: "Although we come from different disciplines, we share a common credo: speed, precision, and a strong team spirit to achieve our goals efficiently." First Intermodal Train from Trieste to Rotterdam Successfully Departed! 🎉 On December 3rd, LTE Italia achieved an important milestone: the first intermodal train on the Trieste-Rotterdam route successfully departed, marking a significant accomplishment for the LTE logistics & transport , completed in just one month of preparation. 👏 This service is particularly exciting and innovative: ✅ Fresh products transport for our customer Societa' Alpe Adria Spa , using VTG wagons equipped with power boxes that convert the wagon’s motion into electricity for reefer containers. ✅ The journey starts with goods arriving by sea via DFDS's weekly Damietta-Trieste connection, continuing by rail to Rotterdam and further by truck to England and Northern Europe. ✅ In just 4-6 days, fresh products reach end markets, ready for retail. This achievement was only possible thanks to: 🎯 Alpe Adria for their trust in us. 🎯 Our Holding, for sourcing an interoperable locomotive to cover the route end-to-end in record time. 🎯 LTE Netherlands B.V. Netherlands and LTE Austria for handling traction across Holland, Germany, and Austria. 🎯 And last but not least, the dedicated LTE Italia team, whose hard work made this possible. 💪 We’re proud to contribute to sustainable and efficient logistics while meeting the challenging demands of intermodal transport. LTE-group is proud to support Special Olympics Austria 🏀🎳🎾 Almost “traditionally” at this time of the year Andreas Mandl, CEO of LTE logistics & transport, confirmed LTE’s continued support for Special Olympics Austria for another year. The athletes’ oath "I want to win, but if I can't win, I want to be brave in the attempt" is put into practice almost every day. Special Olympics Austria promote and support around 200 training events and over 150 smaller and larger competitions.  This year, for example, Austria’s national Winter Games in Styria 👉 https://lnkd.in/dkt3S3N3 👈 were one of the sportive highlights and are still a topic of conversation in the sports-loving community. Next year's highlight, the World Games in Turin, is already at the doorstep. Some years ago Andreas Mandl became aware of the activities and growing importance of the Special Olympics and decided to walk the path together so to speak. "What applies to both of us as institutions is: speed, precision and team spirit.
