How's the likeness! We are loving the artwork on this card, sent to us from the staff and students at Wandana Primary School. It was a privilege to deliver their new and improved space, and we are thrilled to hear how well it has been received. There are most certainly a few budding artists amongst the students, and hopefully a few Civil Engineers 👷 too! #CivilEngineering #CivilEngineer #Education #LearningSpaces

‘A fantastic opportunity!’ The complex considerations required when working on projects within heritage sites, make them some of the most challenging, but also the most rewarding! We are so excited to work through the current stage of design and approval so that we can commence works onsite at Pioneer Park, repairing the heritage wall and bringing it back to its former glory for the community to enjoy. Chris Goold took a recent opportunity to share his thoughts on the project with Aidan Curtis from The Bunyip.

Who says that civil works isn't an art form?! The team have been hard at work these last few weeks, diligently and carefully excavating 1,150 cubic metres of soil. This space will form the community reserve and rainwater detention basin being constructed as part of Woodville Place Stage 4 for SA Housing Trust. Prospect Contractors will be joining us on site in the coming weeks to construct a rock gabion perimeter wall, before basin materials are imported and the area is planted out ready for use by the community! #civilconstruction #civilengineering #community

From start to finish! An amazing transformation of the open space at the junction of Alawoona Avenue and Bradley Grove at the entrance to the Tonsley Innovation District. Improved stormwater management, upgraded roads, beautiful public spaces and a custom designed sculptural artwork - all the key components for a successful community outcome. Thanks to City of Marion, Green Adelaide and Renewal SA and all of our project partners, including but not limited to: LD Total Nexphase Electrical Pty Ltd BildGroup Fleurieu Cranes Pty Ltd #civilengineering #civilconstruction #publicspaces #community

A new lease on life! The Somerton Park Tennis Club is back in action for the City of Holdfast Bay following its recent facelift. With all six courts being resurfaced and realigned, along with new lighting and fencing, the facilities now meet Tennis Australia's guidelines for club competition. Importantly, the courts now include DDA compliant access, ensuring equal access for all members of the community. A project like this doesn't come together without a little help, so a big thanks also to our project partners: Limonta Sport S.p.A. What a great outcome for the community! Many months of hard work have culminated in the recent opening of the Alawoona Streetscape and Wetland Reserve by Member for Elder - Nadia Clancy MP and Mayor of Marion - kris hanna. A jointly funded project by City of Marion, Green Adelaide and Renewal SA, the new spaces form the western gateway to the Tonsley Innovation District with improved access via Alawoona Avenue. Complete with public art and beautifully landscaped community spaces, the precinct is already being embraced by the local community and visitors to the area. A truly remarkable space, and one that we have enjoyed delivering! Congrats to all involved.

This group of people share something very special in common… They’ve all been members of the Camco family for over 20 years…and for a company that’s only 23 years young, that’s pretty impressive! Over 160 years of Camco memories and knowledge in one room! These individuals have been instrumental in Camco’s growth and success over the last 2 decades, so in their honour we’ve set up the Old Timers Club. An opportunity to say thank you to those who have dedicated themselves for such an impressive period of time. We look forward to welcoming new members to the club as the years pass, and an annual celebration will allow them all an opportunity to reflect and see just how far we have come!

Making it their own! We’ve loved to see how the students at Wandana Primary School have embraced their new outdoor play space! Lunchtimes have been filled with colourful chalk drawings and the students have enjoyed being able to decorate their new space every time it rains 🌧️ Underneath the play space lies a complex stormwater upgrade, providing the school with a functional upgrade as well as an aesthetic one.
