About us
Coopers Brewery has a long rich history, which spans from its origins in 1862 to the present day. Over 150 years, Coopers has survived economic recessions, wars, government imposts, changing fashions, and a hostile takeover bid. Today, Coopers stands proudly as the sole major brewer 100% owned by Australians, and holds over 5% of the Australian beer market. The brewery produces a range of Ales, Stouts and Lagers. Our ale range is brewed by a method of top fermentation, originating in the Middle Ages. Coopers uses only natural ingredients including malt, hops, sugar, water and a special yeast strain that's over 90 years old. The descendants of Thomas Cooper still run the brewery, and it's an everyday occurrence to meet a Cooper at Regency Park. Successive Coopers have never lost sight of Thomas’ vision of providing value and quality in the form of healthy beer for an appreciative public, and we intend to continue that tradition.

The Beers & Bogeys Nullarbor Tour | Episode 3 The last episode of the Beers & Bogeys Nullarbor Tour has dropped (and just as we had gotten used to our weekly dose of Cameron and Andrew’s golf adventures, too). In episode 3, Cam and Andrew cross the border into WA and make their way along the longest road in Australia: The 90 Mile Straight. Teeing off at sunset, they play a moonlit par 3, chase stray balls by torchlight through the scrub, and end the day with a Coopers nightcap. Finally, Cam and Andrew play the 18th hole of the Beers & Bogeys Nullarbor Tour at Kalgoorlie Golf Club’s CY O'Connor par 4, where they mark their scorecards, shake hands and sink their final Aussie Lager tinnies.
