We’re keeping our fingers crossed this week as Trinity College’s Marnkutyi Parirna Theatre is nominated for an award at the SA/NT 2024 IES Awards.  Opened in 2023, this 520-seat venue was designed for school and public events, featuring specialised lighting for its stunning timber walls, energy-efficient controls, and a flexible stage system. The exterior showcases architectural lighting and a stainless-steel façade honoring Kaurna heritage. The collaborative design effort resulted in a lighting scheme that has been both impactful and highly praised.  Good luck to everyone involved!  Want to read more about the project? Throwback to an incredible project! ✈️✨ Adelaide Airport's recent $200M terminal expansion—their largest upgrade since 2005! HI Lighting proudly contributed a comprehensive lighting package, including a custom retrofit solution for key public spaces. In collaboration with SA based LPE Group, we developed a sustainable, energy-efficient solution tailored to the project’s needs, utilising locally sourced materials wherever possible.
