✨ A special delivery in Angaro! ✨ This Tuesday, during an outreach session in Angaro, Ogwete sub-county—one of our busiest outreach sites—something extraordinary happened! A 28-year-old expectant mother attending our antenatal care session unexpectedly went into labour and delivered a healthy baby boy weighing 3.8kg. 💙👶 Thanks to the quick response of our team, she and her baby received immediate care and were referred to the nearest health unit for postnatal services. We’re happy to report that both mum and baby are doing well and are ready to be discharged today. 🌟 Moments like these highlight the importance of making healthcare accessible in remote communities. Last week, Love Mercy Foundation was thrilled to attend the first ever Grace Lane event, a collaboration between our amazing partner Pro Purpose, and Queenhood! Grace Lane brought women from all walks of life together in a space filled with connection, encouragement, and empowerment. We were inspired to ‘grace’ all our lanes—from motherhood to mentorship, education, and climbing the corporate ladder. It’s our time to lift each other up with the grace and strength we all deserve. As one of Pro Purpose's charity partners, our CEO, Rebecca Lloyd, had the honor of sharing how Pro Purpose businesses are making a meaningful impact in northern Uganda through their support of our programs.
