Project: 300 Flinders Street, Melbourne Centrally situated directly across from Flinders Street Station, the former Victorian University has undergone a remarkable transformation into an attractive office tower offering breathtaking views lines of Yarra River and the city of Melbourne. The strategic goal at 300 Flinders Street was to reposition the asset by extensive infrastructure & amenities upgrades, also creating an activated ground floor experience, treating the site connection as an internal street linking Flinders Street and Mill Place. The evening brought together Sydney's elite to mark this significant milestone, blending French elegance with the city’s vibrant spirit and celebrating Sofitel’s 60th Diamond Jubilee. Sofitel CEO Maud Bailly highlighted this milestone, reaffirming our place at the heart of Sydney’s vibrant social scene. Our heartfelt thanks go to our valued partners—House Made Hospitality, Encore APAC, VRANKEN-POMMERY MONOPOLE, COURBET, Bridor APAC - MEA, Maison Kaviariand Qantas—whose contributions made the evening unforgettable. Guests were offered a delightful preview of our newly launched restaurants, featuring an array of sumptuous seafood and tastings from these four new venues. Through our incredible partnership with Two Good Co, our 12, 14 & 17 Moore Street Canberra properties were treated to “Scoops For Good” this week. For every scoop of delicious Messina ice cream enjoyed by our tenant customers, Marprop helped support, empower and employ women rebuilding their self worth and independence after domestic violence, homelessness and complex trauma. Last week, we celebrated our grand reopening after a transformative $70 million renovation, ushering in a new chapter of French luxury while honouring Sydney’s local heritage. The glamorous event, hosted by Gold Logie winner Larry Emdur, gathered Sydney’s elite, including French Ambassador Pierre-Andre Imbert, Lord Mayor Clover Moore AO, and TV personalities like Sonia Kruger, Melissa Doyle and Kerri-Anne Kennerley, alongside tourism leaders and loyal guests. We were privileged to welcome Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems brands, who emphasised the hotel’s transformation as part of Sofitel’s global refurbishment program. The evening also celebrated Sofitel’s 60th Diamond Jubilee with lavish seafood stations, striking ice sculptures, VRANKEN-POMMERY MONOPOLE Champagne and a glamorous display of COURBET x Sofitel jewellery. Guests indulged in tastings from the hotel's four new dining venues, created by House Made Hospitality. The evening captivated attendees with a breathtaking performance by soprano Amy Manford, followed by music from DJs Flight Facilities. Qantas staff, dressed in retro Pucci uniforms, transported everyone back to the golden age of travel.
