We are beyond thrilled to announce Tom Boyd as our latest ambassador to join Reclink Australia.   Tom is a passionate advocate for mental health, using his platform to raise awareness and spark open conversations around well-being. Tom has dedicated himself to supporting mental health initiatives, encouraging the community to seek help and sharing his own personal journey following his stellar AFL career to help break down the stigma surrounding mental health. There is a clear link between Reclink’s mission and Tom’s commitment to supporting mental health. We couldn’t think of a better fit then Tom to join us in improving well-being through sport. We are extremely excited for the incredible impact we can make together and can’t wait to work alongside Tom to achieve something special!

2025 has kicked off with a bang as we welcomed fresh leadership and an exciting vision for the future! We’re thrilled to introduce Cameron Hannebery as our new Board Chair, with Margie Hill GAICD stepping into the deputy Chair role. We also welcome three incredible new Board Directors: Kelli Browne (GAICD), Karena Newland and Alan White CFRE. To start the year strong, we gathered for a dynamic strategy day, where big ideas, bold plans, and plenty of passion set the foundation for an exciting new chapter at Reclink. With our first Board meeting now complete, we’re ready to make 2025 a year of impact, innovation, and real change in the communities we serve. Werribee Rotary is holding its annual Charity Golf Day, and this year, Reclink Australia will receive the proceeds from the event! The Werribee Park Golf Course is an 18-hole course with sweeping views of the Werribee River and is located beside the Werribee Park Mansion and Werribee Zoo. We'd love your support to get behind this day and raise money to support our Reclink sport and recreation programs for Australian's facing disadvantage. Last Friday, Reclink proudly hosted its Annual Celebration Lunch at Marvel Stadium, with over 200 corporates and their guests in attendance. It was a truly inspiring afternoon filled with impactful stories, meaningful connections, and a shared passion for making a difference in our communities. A special thank you to Marvel Stadium for your outstanding hospitality. We were privileged to hear from our incredible speakers; Laura Kane, Fatima Yousufi, Tom Boyd, Alexandra Viney, Ben Brown and Maisie Nankivell who shared powerful, real-life examples of how sports can improve mental health outcomes. Their stories were a testament to the transformative power of sport in fostering resilience, building connections, and improving overall well-being. We’re proud to share that Alice Moran, Sport and Recreation Manager (Regional West and Central Vic) has been awarded a scholarship through the 2024-25 Change Our Game Professional Development Scholarships Program.
