Reeds Consulting are pleased to announce that at the recent 2024 National Surveying Congress in Queenstown, New Zealand, we were awarded as the winner in the category of 36-80 Employees for the Surveying Consultancy Excellence Awards. In announcing the win, the Panel noted that "Reeds Consulting demonstrates an extensive commitment to professionalism in Surveying, with dedication to performance, professional development, association involvement, leadership, WHS, ownership, and so much more. Their long-term goals of building strong internal & client-based relationships, serve as the cornerstone for excellence" Alan Norman and Robin McDowell were pleased to accept the award on behalf of the Survey Department.

The Management Team at Reeds Consulting are delighted to announce the internal promotions of our newest directors. In the survey department, Tom Millar has been appointed as a Director and in the Engineering department, Frank Mendolia has also been appointed as a Director. Tom and Frank have been at Reeds for 15 and 23 years respectively and bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and dedication to their departments and the company. After a 48-year drafting career, of which 43 years was spent at Reeds Consulting, it was time to say farewell to Douglas Stone on Tuesday 14th May 2024.  It is not often that you see such longevity of service to a single organisation. Doug is the epitome of a model employee, who always did his best to please others, was conscientious, dedicated and hard-working. Each week, Doug would put on Friday afternoon nibblies which was always well received and gave staff an opportunity to gather at the end of each working week to hear Doug’s stories. It just won’t be the same without Doug around the office ☹. All the best with your well-earned retirement Doug. We hope you enjoy your long walks, painting watercolours, gardening, going to the cinema and can get away on some short trips every so often. We’ll certainly miss your stories and amazing ability to recall events from “the olden days”.  Congratulations and a big thank you from everyone at Reeds Consulting.

Sam Ravida, Frank Mendolia and John Bosco had the pleasure of joining the Intrapac Property team together with other key consultants for a site inspection and workshop for the future development of Precinct 3 at the #Kinley Estate this week. While the weather wasn’t favourable at all times, the workshop was well worthwhile and Reeds Consulting looks forward to continuing to work with Intrapac on this landmark project in Lilydale.

Reeds Consulting recently took part in the Central Highlands Water Charity Golf Day, an event aimed at supporting the vital efforts of WaterAid Australia and WRISC Family Violence Support, with Frank Mendolia, Tat Hoi, Leanne G. and Linh Phan representing Reeds. Both organisations are committed to their respective causes, with WaterAid Australia focusing on providing essential water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest communities, and WRISC Family Violence Support dedicating their services to assist women and children impacted by family violence through various support mechanisms. We are honoured to have contributed to the event, which successfully raised approximately $2,500, to be distributed equally between the two charities.
