👏👏👏 Well done Blair Boyer MP, a significant day for inclusive education in South Australia.
Today is an important day. All three South Australian education sectors - public, independent and catholic - will take significant steps today towards a more inclusive education sector across the state. The reforms are set to deliver on the recommendations made by the Disability Royal Commission. Today we announced we will provide a more inclusive environment including providing annual de-identified data covering enrolment refusal or cancellation for students with a disability, as well as undertaking a review of the Education and Early Childhood Services Act and creating stronger inclusion requirements in order for schools to be registered. We are the first state in the country to come to an agreement with all education sectors and stand together to make a public commitment. Great to be at Bethany Christian School.
