🐍 Snakes on Site! Handling Wildlife with Care 🐍 With summer approaching and an increase in snake activity expected at the Collie CBESS Project, safety remains our top priority. Recently, several snakes have been safely caught and released by Synergy staff, highlighting the importance of being prepared for these encounters.   To ensure the safety of everyone on-site — Synergy, SCEE Electrical, and Westforce Construction teams — SCEE Electrical engaged Snake Rescue & Relocation Training (Snake R&R) for a Snake Handling Course.   Expertly delivered by Ty Thompson, the course equipped participants with the knowledge and techniques for safe snake handling and relocation, fostering respect for these reptiles while ensuring safety for both people and wildlife. The training was a memorable day filled with excitement, achievement, and a deeper appreciation for our environment. We highly recommend Snake R&R and their professional trainers for anyone needing expert guidance in reptile management.   At SCEE Electrical, we’re committed to creating safe and harmonious worksites for all – including the wildlife we share them with! 🐍🌱 #SCEEElectrical #SnakeRescue #WildlifeSafety #ConstructionSafety #CBESS #Collie   sceeelectrical.com.au

🌟 Proud to have four members of our SCEE Electrical team out on the greens last Friday for the 20th Annual Rio Tinto Charity Golf Day at Joondalup Golf Resort! Over the past two decades, this incredible event has raised nearly $1 million to support essential causes, and this year’s funds will go to Breast Cancer WA and Diabetes WA. SCEE Electrical was honoured to sponsor the Longest Drive hole this year, adding to the excitement of the day. A big thank you to Rio Tinto for organising this memorable event. It’s always inspiring to see the community come together to support such impactful charities. #SCEEElectrical #CommunitySupport #CharityGolfDay #ProudSponsor

🚧 Teamwork and Safety in Action at Newman! 🚧   An exceptional team effort at our client’s mine site! Building on the fantastic work of our subcontractor, FRC Group, who successfully delivered the site's first concrete tilt panel construction, we couldn’t be prouder of our SCEE Electrical Newman crew for their unwavering support throughout this high-risk tilt panel construction project. Their teamwork was instrumental in delivering this challenging task safely and efficiently. Their dedication and commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards were pivotal in keeping the project on track and achieving this important milestone with Zero Incidents.   A special shoutout to our Supervisor, Chris Weekes, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. His meticulous attention to detail and understanding of WHS Regulations—especially regarding Tilt Panel Work—were key to the success of this task.   Great job to everyone involved! 👏 #Teamwork #SafetyFirst #SCEEElectrical #WHS #ConstructionSafety #NewmanProjects #ZeroHarm #TiltPanelWork

Collie BESS powers ahead: Key leaders visit as construction progresses on WA’s largest battery   Construction on Synergy (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) Collie Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is moving forward rapidly, a project that will provide essential support to Western Australia's South West Interconnected System (SWIS) as the state transitions to a cleaner energy future.   SCEE Electrical is proud to be contributing to this transformational project through our role in delivering the Balance of Plant and 330kV Substation works. This major initiative, visited by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in September and WA Premier Roger Cook and Minister for Energy Reece Whitby yesterday, is set to become one of Australia’s largest battery storage systems, with a capacity of 500 MW/2,000 MWh.   We’re thrilled to help bring this landmark project to life, which not only supports WA’s renewable energy goals but also creates local jobs and strengthens the Collie community.   #sceeelectrical#synergy#batteryenergystoragesystems#renewableenergy
