We are thrilled to announce that Engage Marine has been awarded the contract to provide towage services to the ports of Townsville, Lucinda, Cairns, and Mourilyan. This exciting milestone reflects our commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable towage services while fostering strong relationships with the Port of Townsville Limited and Ports North. Engage Marine CEO, Mark Malone, shared his enthusiasm for this next chapter: "We are proud to expand our operations in North Queensland and are dedicated to supporting the local communities with new opportunities and partnerships." With plans to establish offices in Townsville and Cairns, we are excited to bring our expertise and innovation to these regions. We look forward to working collaboratively with local stakeholders and contributing to the growth of these vital port communities. #EngageMarine #TowageServices #PortOfTownsville #PortsNorth #LeadingChange

We’re excited to share the successful completion of our Sydney Active Escort Towage Training Package, delivered in collaboration with James Riley and the team at AMC Search at the Australian Maritime College Centre for Maritime Simulations. This milestone is the result of months of hard work, as we developed the program from the ground up to integrate best practices, advanced DAMEN 2813 systems, and the specific operational requirements of Port Authority of New South Wales. This achievement marks a proud moment for Engage Marine as we remain committed to ‘Leading Change’ in the towage sector. We now look forward to the formal implementation of Escort Towage in Sydney. #MaritimeIndustry #EscortTowage #TrainingExcellence #EngageMarine #LeadingChange

A great perspective shared by Paul Nicolaou on the vital role Sydney’s working harbour plays in supporting our city’s economy. Engage Marine is proud to contribute to the cruise industry and commercial operations that make Sydney Harbour a hub of activity. Special thanks to Paul, David Jones, and Angelique Opie for joining our Port Captain Dom McCarron and crew as they expertly escorted Pacific Adventure to White Bay Cruise Terminal. It’s moments like these that showcase the dedication and skill of our team. We’re excited to see Sydney’s harbour continue to thrive and support initiatives to increase its economic impact for the benefit of all. #SydneyHarbour #EngageMarine #CruiseIndustry #WorkingHarbour #MaritimeIndustry
Sydney, we have been thinking lately about the importance of Sydney’s working harbour and the need to retain commercial operations at Glebe Island and at White Bay by organisations that include among them well respected Business Sydney members. These valuable commercial activities include the cruise industry and the operators that support it including towage company Engage Marine with its harbour-based fleet of tugs. Yesterday bright & early, David Jones, Angelique Opie from 7NEWS Australia and I had the pleasure of joining Engage Marine’s port captain Dom McCarron and his crew as they escorted the beautiful cruise ship Pacific Adventure safely to her berth at the White Bay Cruise Terminal. The cruise industry is so important to our wonderful city. A large portion of the $4.4 billion in economic activity it generates in NSW annually happens right here in Sydney. We think it’s possible to increase this activity still further with a target of $5 billion in economic activity annually by 2030. In the meantime, best wishes to all the Sydneysiders packing their bags ready to enjoy a magnificent Christmas cruise from our harbour city. #sydney #glebeislsnd #whitebay #workingharbour #cruiseindustry #tugboats #sydneyharbour #welovesydney

Today, on International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), we reflect on the importance of raising awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disabilities. We were privileged to welcome Ellie Cole AM PLY, Paralympian, advocate, and trailblazer, as a guest speaker for our Empower Program at Engage Marine. Ellie’s inspiring journey and insights challenged us to think differently about leadership, resilience, and inclusion. Her message reminds us that by fostering an inclusive environment, we can unlock potential, create stronger teams, and better support the communities we serve. #IDPwD #InclusionMatters #EngageMarine #LeadershipEmpowerment
