This August marks Tradies National Health Month, a time to highlight the significance of our tradies’ health and to stay vigilant for any signs of pain they might be facing. Our tradies are more than just workers; they are our family and friends. We appreciate their essential role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our projects' facilities. #TradiesHealthMonth #Awareness #HealthCheck

At Zancott Knight, we take immense pride in contributing to the Woomera Redevelopment Joint Venture in delivering works for the Department of Defence, which was an incredible effort and success for the team with a happy client as a result. Our team was engaged in assessing the existing infrastructure on-site by leveraging technological surveillance, we unravelled the intricacies of sewer and stormwater drainage systems to capture data to support the remedial works and upgrades to vital infrastructure. Zancott Knight’s commitment extends beyond bricks and mortar to shape the future for our Defence personnel through the delivery of improved infrastructure in the local area.

In conjunction with #NAIDOC Week, the #ZancottKnight team came together with various business entities to celebrate the significance of NAIDOC Week. The gathering recognises the enduring strength of Aboriginal and Indigenous people with the aim of keeping the spirit of NAIDOC Week alive—Blak, Loud, and Proud. Catering was provided from our local Indigenous caterer, providing an opportunity for everyone to bond and develop an understanding of NAIDOC’s significance, reinforcing the importance of unity and respect for the tradition.

Zancott Knight is proud to be sponsors for the Indigenous Clontarf Garden at the Whyalla Maritime Museum Gardens. This project has been in the making for the last couple of months in collaboration with the kids from Clontarf Foundation Academy and the City of Whyalla. The team is excited to share this community project in the embedment of a variety of native and Indigenous plants breathing new life to the gardens, and giving back to the local community of Whyalla. Stay tuned as the team and the kids from the academy begin to make some progress on the design of the garden. Photos courtesy of Josh Berkett, City of Whyalla

Zancott Knight had the wonderful opportunity to be part of yourtown's National Reconciliation Week morning tea in Brisbane. It was great to meet and be in conversation with the yourtown team - Janet Williams, Sean Doolan, Mark Ryan and Dean Brunker. We were reminded that Now More Than Ever we need to come together this National Reconciliation Week to reflect on our shared histories, cultures and achievements and the journey towards achieving reconciliation. Thank you for having us, and for the opportunity to be part of this journey, together. #Reconcilation #NowMoreThanEver #NRW2024

The #ZancottKnight team were united for a day of planning joined by colleagues from other business ventures led by senior management. Team ZK engaged in various team-building activities and gained valuable insights from Guest Speaker Kevin Sheedy, who shared his AFL journey and the origins of Dreamtime at the G in recognising and bring out the best of Indigenous Australian people and culture within the sport. This day help reignite our commitment to shared objectives, fostered teamwork, elevate our processes in enhancing our overall customer, employee, and community experience to drive future successes.

Today is National Sorry Day. This day allows communities to unite in the healing journey for those of the Stolen Generations who were forcefully taken from their families and communities. Acknowledging the past with genuine empathy on National Sorry Day is a significant step towards healing and reconciliation. #NowMoreThanEver #NRW2024
