TRANSITION | Le nombre d’entreprises belges certifiées B Corp a doublé en deux ans. La tendance est fulgurante. Il faut remonter à 2012 pour trouver la première entreprise belge certifiée #BCorp – le promoteur immobilier gantois, Revive. Pendant près de dix ans, le nombre d’entreprises belges qui décrochent ce label, né aux États-Unis en 2006, stagne. Fin 2020, elles ne sont encore que 17. Depuis, c’est l’accélération. Elles étaient une cinquantaine (54) fin 2022. Elles seront plus d’une centaine fin 2024 (au moins 103, selon des chiffres arrêtés en novembre). En Europe, l’emballement est identique: de moins d’un millier fin 2020 à plus de 4.000 aujourd’hui (Royaume-Uni inclus). Au sein des plus de 9.000 entreprises concernées dans le monde, le nombre d’entreprises européennes labellisées dépasse  le nombre de B Corp américaines.
