Today, we are proud to announce that our CEO/Director General, Stefan Diderich, is speaking at SimaPro’s online event!   This milestone comes as ESTC (EMEA Synthetic Turf Council) , together with PRé Sustainability, successfully completes its PEFCR project for synthetic turf systems. We’re also proud to be one of the first industries in Europe to establish rules for calculating the environmental impact of synthetic turf for sports and landscaping applications. We were pleased to welcome Mr. Stefan Diderich from the European Synthetic Turf Council (ESTC) to the 2024 GUT/ECRA General Assembly. Mr. Diderich gave an insightful presentation on the current challenges surrounding microplastics in the artificial turf industry. While the release of polymer microparticles outdoors differs from indoor environments, it was fascinating to gain a fresh perspective on how other industries are addressing these environmental challenges.
