2️⃣ weeks ago, SuPerTandem celebrated 2️⃣ years on our M24 meeting organized by INES - Institut National de l'Energie Solaire in the beautiful city of Chambery, France 🍷. All partners were excited to plan out activities of the last year and define a strategy on how to reach a successful end of SuPerTandem in 2025! It was not only an important milestone for the project, but for the whole #perovskite research community too ☀️, as we reunited representatives from 8 #EUfunded projects during the associated "Eco-Design Workshop" ♻️! This public event featured lively discussions on the #environmental impacts of emerging "green" technologies and comparisons of results and challenges across the projects. A key #takeaway of the event was that increased #transparency and data-sharing is needed, to give more added value to environmental assessments of lower-TRL technologies! 💸

🔝EU PVSEC 2024 was a blast! The exciting conference brought together talks from Empa, TNO & FLUXiM AG, and our #Perovskite #Network. booth was buzzing with activity! The week was packed with new contacts and intriguing exchanges with new partners. First takeaways from Sustainable Places Conference 2024 held in the beautiful city of Luxembourg (23-25 September)💡! 🤝🏼Yesterday, Martina Chopart joined the 'Advanced Manufacturing of Renewable Plants' workshop with other PV-focused projects: SEAMLESS-PV Project, Flex2Energy Horizon Europe Project & Platform-ZERO to talk about the future of #photovoltaic #technologies and had a great discussion on some of these key topics: What are the most promising technologies in terms of efficiency and stability❓ How do we select optimal #sustainable materials without compromising the cost of manufacturing on an industrial scale❓ How can we successfully scale up and optimize the production processes - and what tools are necessary❓ Which markets are optimal for each technology (#BIPVs, #VIPVs or even #agrivoltaics)❓ Thank you R2M Solution and Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) for this insightful event! ☀️
