💡 #Energy #efficiency and #energy #savings must be at the centre of #EU policy. Taking seriously the #Draghi report, the new #Polish #Presidency aligns with the new Commission big words: #competitiveness, #energytransition, #energyindependence, and #industrialboost. While reinforcing the correlation between climate objectives and energy transition, Poland also highlighted in their priorities the importance of the EU's competitiveness. For the first time in EU legislation, the energy efficiency first principle is legally defined, with energy efficiency measures now a guiding principle in all policies. 🔎 As EPEE, implementing the energy efficiency first principle is key to secure all the above priorities.
