The Gobierno de Navarra (Regional Government of Navarre (Spain) has carried out a new flight test involving manned and unmanned aircraft, specifically four drones, one from the Navarre delegation, and a Government of Navarre helicopter, simulating the search for a person who disappeared while walking the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela in the vicinity of Estella-Lizarra. This action is part of the European U-ELCOME project, in which Navarre participates along with other communities in Spain and regions of Italy and France to explore the use of drones in different areas. Este documento, que servirá como guía para los actuales y futuros implementadores de U-space en Europa, recoge recomendaciones, buenas prácticas y lecciones aprendidas de las primeras fases de implantación de los servicios U-space. 🗣️ Rodrigo Benedit Pascual e Ignacio Conde Álvarez, de la División Comercial y Desarrollo de Negocio Internacional de #ENAIRE, compartieron su experiencia en la certificación de plataformas U-space y en las evaluaciones del espacio aéreo para su implantación en España. ☑️ Estas aportaciones están ayudando a agilizar y facilitar la implementación de U-space en Europa, contribuyendo a un futuro más eficiente y seguro para la gestión del tráfico aéreo no tripulado. ➡️ El trabajo conjunto de U-ELCOME marca un paso más hacia el futuro de la aviación. The Advanced Centre for Aerospace Technologies (Centro Avanzado de Tecnologías Aeroespaciales (CATEC), together with the aeronautical engineering companies AERTEC and  Pildo Labs and the Universidad de Sevilla, have successfully completed a series of tests in a real environment in Seville (Spain), within the context of the #UELCOME Project , aimed at demonstrating the viability of transporting goods, in this case medical cargo, over long distances, through the use of #drones and #UAS. Today, 18th November 2024, the #UELCOME DSD Project reached another milestone during the WP6 Open Day at SEA Milan Airports Malpensa airport. We presented and discussed the future of logistics and healthcare with UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) operations for cargo and medical deliveries. Highlights of the Day: 💡 Live Demonstrations: Presenting cutting-edge UAS cargo and medical supply deliveries. 💡 Integration with Airport Operations: Seamless collaboration between UAS and existing terminal logistics at one of Europe’s busiest hubs. 💡 Discussions & Insights: Municipality, regional Health Agency, regulatory bodies, and technology providers shared insights on the operational, regulatory, and technological advancements shaping the future of autonomous deliveries. 💡 Sustainability & Innovation: Emphasis on eco-friendly solutions to reduce carbon footprints while enhancing delivery speed and accessibility.
