  • To celebrate Women in Aviation Week, Air Borealis proudly operated a special flight with an all-women crew! Captain Brianna Ricketts and First Officer Kailey Loveless took to the skies, flying to six coastal communities along Labrador’s North Coast. Behind the scenes, our women flight followers played a crucial role in ensuring safe and smooth operations throughout the journey. This flight is a tribute to the incredible contributions of women in aviation, both in the air and on the ground!

  • We had an amazing time bringing Santa, Mrs. Claus and gifts to the four North Coast communities- Hopedale, Postville, Rigolet and Makkovik. This year, the gifts also included a special book by Robert Munsch-Give Me Back My Dad, inspired by a girl named Cheryl from Rigolet. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible, and to the Rotary Club for their ongoing support. Special thanks to our incredible pilots, James Earle and Cameron Roberts for safely flying us through some stunning landscapes and ensuring we could spread holiday joy to the communities.

  • Bryson and Matthew from Natuashish and Sheshatshiu were among the lucky kids on this year's Flight to the North Pole with PAL Airlines! They took off from St. John's and flew all the way to the North Pole to meet Santa himself. 🎅 This annual Christmas tradition gives kids across Newfoundland and Labrador a chance to win a seat on the flight of a lifetime. We are so thrilled that these two children from Labrador got to be part of the magic. We hope you both had the best time ever with Santa and made some unforgettable memories! 🌟❄️

  • Today marks 19 years since the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement came into effect, paving the way for the establishment of Nunatsiavut’s self-government. On December 1, 2005, after more than 30 years of negotiations, a new chapter in the region's history was written. Let’s take a moment to celebrate Nunatsiavut’s resilience, leadership, and enduring strength as we honor this milestone and wish the residents a joyful day.
