It has been an incredible year of milestones, growth, and community impact at City Wide Produce! Here's a look back at some of the highlights that made 2024 so special: ⭐ February: We were honoured to be recognized as a 2023 Employer of the Year - Community Collaboration by WorkBC Centre Guildford, WorkBC Centre Newton, and WorkBC Centre Whalley. ⭐ March: We attended the BC Chefs Association President’s Ball and successfully bid on a catered dinner during the auction. The proceeds supported scholarships for culinary students! ⭐ April: We exhibited at the 99th Annual Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Trade Show and won a Fresh Health Award! Gopal Gupta, our Co-Founder and CEO, was a panelist for the Health Symposium at the convention. ⭐ June: We participated and volunteered at the RBC Race for the Kids, raising funds for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. ⭐ September: We attended the Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong to strengthen client relationships and explore new opportunities. ⭐ October: We attended the International Fresh Produce Association Global Produce & Floral Show in Atlanta - North America’s largest produce and floral event!  ⭐ November: We broke ground on our new, state-of-the-art facility, visited the SWIPE Trade Show in Arizona, and were named a finalist for the Surrey Business Excellence Awards in the 10-40 Employees Category by the Surrey Board of Trade. We’ve expanded our produce selection with ginger and carrots from China and added a wider variety of fresh fruits, including apples, berries, and stone fruit. We’ve also increased our selection of warm vegetables, such as eggplant, chili peppers, and corn. Thank you to our team, partners, and community for making this an unforgettable year.
