Cornish Metals Inc. has developed a near mine Exploration Target at the South Crofty tin project, based on extrapolation of known, previously mined structures beyond the limits of the current South Crofty Mineral Resource. Mineralisation around South Crofty remains open along strike and down dip providing further potential beyond the near mine Exploration Target and does not consider the wider opportunities within the South Crofty mining permission area (like the Wide Formation exploration project, or within the wider region in Cornwall where Cornish Metals has extensive mineral rights holdings). https://bit.ly/3UV63bl #tin #mining #cornwall

We were pleased to host Rachael Parish from the State Department at the US Embassy in London, and Perran Moon, Labour Party MP for Camborne, Redruth & Hayle on a visit to South Crofty where we discussed the importance of tin as a critical mineral and the key role it plays in modern life and the energy transition, and South Crofty’s potential to become a secure source of responsibly sourced tin within the UK.

As per our COO Owen Mihalop: "It was great to see you today Perran, and by the way, you and Rachael are the first visitors that we have taken into the mine via the cage in New Cooks Kitchen shaft."
Today the US State Dept visited South Crofty tin mine, in the heart of my constituency of Camborne & Redruth to see for themselves the phenomenal potential of Cornish Metals Inc. to transform European tin excavation. And it was an emotional day for me: I have walked, cycled and driven past the mine since the 1970s. Today I got to go down it! A truly fascinating insight and I felt so privileged to be walking in the footsteps of giants (although not literally as being much over 6ft 2 clearly isn’t a virtue down a mine) Owen Mihalop Critical Minerals Association (UK) Rachael Parrish Don Turvey Jonathan Reynolds MP Rt Hon Darren Jones MP Fawzi Hanano Preet Kaur Gill
