Monday night at Cours Bayview Yards was a memorable milestone for our community, as over 150 immigrant women entrepreneurs and supporters gathered for a vibrant meetup and marketplace. It was an inspiring showcase of diversity, where individuals who have been in Canada for weeks or decades all found a place where they are seen and empowered. We extend our deepest thanks to Startup Canada for their support, and to all the vendors who brought their energy and beautiful products. Each vendor exemplified the essence of entrepreneurship, demonstrating that no matter the size of your business, you are an integral part of our ecosystem. The highlight of the evening was the compelling story told by our guest speaker, Olha Tikhon, a member of our own group. Olha shared her powerful journey from war-torn Ukraine to building a successful life in Ottawa in just 1.5 years. Her story resonated with many, inspiring everyone from various stages of their entrepreneurial path. It's crucial to amplify diverse voices and experiences, and Olha’s perspective was a testament to that. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the incredible energy of the night. Your participation is what drives us forward and fuels our commitment to nurturing this dynamic ecosystem. Invest Ottawa
