For the past year at Later, I've been focusing my research on understanding what makes content sell in the creator economy. 💡 Something interesting kept coming up in my research with creators about affiliate marketing. It wasn't what I initially expected: The most effective content rarely came from dedicated product reviews or tutorials. Instead, creators were seeing their best results (54.9%) when they simply shared products as a natural part of their daily lifestyle content. I found this particularly interesting because it shows how affiliate marketing continues to thrive, but perhaps not in the ways we might assume. Oftentimes, being less promotional actually drives better results 🎯 📝 I've gathered these findings into two articles that explore how creators are approaching affiliate marketing in 2024.
