SEEnet is a support network that aims to better position English-speaking communities to connect with Québec’s thriving social economy ecosystem. Practically speaking, SEEnet promotes entrepreneurial approaches and facilitates the active participation of the English-speaking communities of Québec in the social economy. This is accomplished by mobilizing knowledge, leveraging resources, building capacity, strengthening connections, and developing partnerships.

Retour sur notre évènement 2ème édition de l'Économie sociale inclusive : l'impact de l'accompagnement spécifique de la diversité ! ✨ Nous remercions tous.tes les participant.e.s d’avoir bravé le froid pour nous réchauffer de leur présence ! 🥰 Merci à Christina Constantinidis, Carène Tchuinou et Kerstin Kuyken de l' École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) pour leur présentation sur l'importance du réseautage pour les femmes entrepreneures et immigrantes - le rôle des incubateurs spécialisés. Merci à Jaël Elysée(Fonds Afro-Entrepreneurs), Joelle Bernard (Chantier de l'économie sociale) et Ibrahim KABORE (Entreprendre ici) pour leur partage lors du panel EDI - L'impact de l'accompagnement spécifique de la diversité. 🌟 This past Tuesday, we were happy to co-host the Connect and Collaborate event on the Magdalen Islands as part of the Série de 5 à 7 Intercoopération—a series of inter-regional events supported by the Coopérative de développement régional du Québec (CDRQ), Pôle d'économie sociale Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Unoria Coopérative, Caisse Populaire Desjardins, Conseil Québécois de la Coopération et de la Mutualité (CQCM), and the Regional Development Network (RDN). This dynamic gathering showcased the power of collaboration in driving socio-economic success. Organized through RDN’s SEEnet initiative, the event was co-sponsored by La Vague – La Corporation d’innovation et de développement Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Accès Microcrédit Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and the Council For Anglophone Magdalen Islanders (CAMI). The event brought together 15 business owners and project leaders, 7 regional support partners, and 3 engaging panelists, offering invaluable opportunities for the English-speaking business community to discover resources and services designed to help their businesses grow and thrive. The atmosphere was electric with lively discussions, the sharing of ideas, and the forming of new collaborations, strengthening the foundation of our regional economic development sector. We'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event.
