Building networks, exchanging knowledge and listening to our stakeholders’ views on sustainability topics has become a December tradition for us. So we were delighted to welcome a diverse range of engaging speakers and panelists and over 160 guests to our virtual studio for the Coca-Cola Stakeholder Forum 2024. Our focus this year was how we can harness the circular economy for packaging – particularly through innovation and collaboration. And we gained many valuable insights from our lively discussions and breakout sessions. In his closing remarks, our CEO Zoran Bogdanovic said: “Each year, we gather everyone together for our annual Stakeholders’ Forum because we genuinely want to talk with and listen to the views of our external partners. We had lively and engaging discussions on how we can transition to a circular economy for packaging. Together we talked about the challenges and the opportunities – and the role that collaboration and innovation can play in helping us to achieve our goals. These will help shape our strategies as we continue our journey to open up a more sustainable future.” Thanks to everyone who made this year’s Forum so interesting and relevant! #circularpackagingeconomy #sustainability Read more: bit.ly/4gF21fQ

It’s one year since Romania’s Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) was launched. So far, over 3 billion plastic, glass and aluminium beverage containers have been returned through the scheme to be used again! In October 2024, 84% of containers sold in the market were returned through the scheme. These early figures are encouraging and come from strong partnerships. We believe they show that manufacturers like us, retailers, the government, wider industry, the operator RetuRO SGR and consumers are committed to playing their part in creating a more sustainable environment. In Coca-Cola HBC, eight of our markets have DRS in place and we’re continuing to work across Europe and Africa to establish systems that work and suit local needs. We continue to make progress towards our packaging collection goal. We delivered an overall collection rate of 56% across our Group in 2023 (excluding Egypt) – an increase of eight percentage points from 2022. We know there’s still much work to do, and our sustainability journey continues. Read more here: bit.ly/3BBNUIK

How is the world's most famous soft drink made? Participants in the 2024 Night of Modern Factories event could find the answer to this question when they visited the Coca-Cola HBC Hungary factory in Dunaharaszti.🏭 We are proud to have opened our doors to the public again this year, giving around 200 visitors a behind-the-scenes look at our supply chain processes. The event also gave the opportunity for students from Central Hungarian ASzC Bercsényi Miklós Food Industry and Environmental Protection Technical School to see our production and logistics processes, thanks to our company's #YouthEmpowered programme. Thank you for your participation and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
