Women-led social enterprises are at the forefront of addressing socio-economic challenges in the MENA region, yet they continue to face barriers that limit their scalability and impact. The Roadmap for Inclusive Green Finance Implementation V.2, developed by Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) and to which we were privileged to contribute, is now available. As the Inclusive Green Finance (IGF) landscape continues to evolve, ongoing learning and adaptation remain key. Our team played a crucial role in drafting and shaping the in-depth analysis of the six-country case studies, providing practical examples of how Bangladesh, Ecuador, Egypt, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, and Zambia have successfully implemented policies aligned with the IGF Building Blocks outlined in the first version of the Roadmap. The report highlights innovative approaches, financial incentives, and regulatory tools that foster climate resilience and financial inclusion. It serves as a roadmap for countries embarking on or advancing their IGF journeys, offering actionable tools and insights to build sustainable and inclusive financial ecosystems. By learning from the experiences of AFI member institutions, countries can better navigate the complexities of IGF and promote long-term economic and environmental resilience.
