The next evolution in cardiac ablation is not a new medical device—it’s a new care setting. Cardiologists and patients can expect to see EP-focused surgery centers emerging across the country in the coming years. This shift in treatment setting reflects the growing safety and efficacy of ablation procedures while also offering the potential to reduce administrative burdens and streamline care. I’m interested to see how EPs will adapt to a more specialized setting and what new perspectives and methodologies will arise.
