DAS Bahrain and the Bahrain Civil Aviation Air Traffic Management Directorate collaborated to deliver critical aviation Search and Rescue training to members of the Bahrain ACC air traffic team. Conducted by IAMSAR Solutions Inc., the course equips participants with the skills necessary to serve as Search and Rescue Mission Coordinators for aviation incidents. The training of five ATC specialists aims to enhance Bahrain ATC's ability to manage Search and Rescue coordination in its area of responsibility, including significant portions of nearby international waters. This collaboration marks a major advancement in improving aviation safety and preparedness in the region, strengthening the capabilities of the air traffic team. #bahrain #DASTeam #collaboration

🎄🌳 Let’s embrace new trees instead of traditional presents! Once again this year, we at DAS are foregoing Christmas presents for our customers in favor of sustainability and social responsibility. Last Friday, we presented the non-profit organization Waldfreunde gGmbH with a donation of 1.500 EUR and symbolically planted our first DAS tree - a winter lime tree. 🌱 Waldfreunde gGmbH is impressively committed to the reforestation and protection of native forests. In 2024 alone, around 12,000 trees have been planted with the support of numerous companies and private individuals. A big thank you to the Waldfreunde gGmbH and Jürgen Graf for their tireless efforts! #sustainability #christmaspresent #teamwork

❗ NEWS ❗ DAS has opened its Remote Tower Control Center in the north of Germany, Lower Saxony, at Flughafen Braunschweig-Wolfsburg GmbH . With the support of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Transport and Digitalisation, this innovative entity entered the operational implementation phase in November. The air traffic control services for Flughafen Braunschweig-Wolfsburg GmbH will already be partially taken over from the Remote Tower Center during the current implementation phase.
