❗ NEWS ❗ DAS has opened its Remote Tower Control Center in the north of Germany, Lower Saxony, at Flughafen Braunschweig-Wolfsburg GmbH . With the support of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Transport and Digitalisation, this innovative entity entered the operational implementation phase in November. The air traffic control services for Flughafen Braunschweig-Wolfsburg GmbH will already be partially taken over from the Remote Tower Center during the current implementation phase. The developer team visited LVNL for another workshop to further enhance the arrival management software for Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. ❗ NEWS ❗ DFS Aviation Services Bahrain CO WLL wins two-year contract extension in Bahrain DFS Aviation Services Bahrain Co WLL has once again won the tender for the provision of air traffic control personnel to the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA), securing a two-year contract extension with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT) of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since 2019, DAS Bahrain has been providing support to BCAA's Air Navigation Services, significantly contributing to the safety and efficiency of air traffic in the region. Successful ACS and APC courses at DAS Aviation Academy completed! From September onwards, we welcomed ATCOs from Kazakhstan every week for an exciting four-week training program. The first two groups focused on ACS (Area Control Surveillance), while the last two groups dove into APS (Approach Control Surveillance). Each course packed in 8 hours of engaging theory lessons, along with 4 practical sessions for each participant, which included debriefings before and after the course. The participants concluded with a final test and a certificate of successful completion. Thanks to all the participants, trainers and sim pilots! #training #airtrafficmanagement #DASTeam
