Mirova Invests $10M in ecoligo to Boost C&I Solar in Vietnam 🇻🇳 🌍 Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers specialising in sustainable investments, has committed $10 million in senior debt financing to ecoligo, a Berlin-based solar-as-a-service provider. This funding will finance greenfield C&I solar rooftop projects in Vietnam, marking the first investment by the Mirova Gigaton Fund in the country. 📈 Vietnam's C&I solar sector has surged, with capacity rising from nearly 0% in 2018 to 21% in 2022. Policies like the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) and the Energy Service Company (ESCO) model are fostering opportunities for businesses to cut costs while aligning with the nation’s net-zero 2050 goals. 💡 Ecoligo delivers fully financed solar PV solutions through PPAs and lease-to-own models, targeting industries such as manufacturing, hospitality, agriculture, and healthcare. With €74 million raised and a global portfolio of 100 MWp, ecoligo is a leader in emerging market renewable energy. 💬 Martin Baart, CEO of ecoligo said, "We are thrilled to expand our impact in Vietnam with the support of Mirova's investment.
