Fendt @ Austro Agrar Tulln 2024 – a dream in green! 💚 During last week’s Austro Agrar in Tulln, Austrian customers were able to touch and feel the entire Fendt product range on the joint Fendt stand of all Austrian distribution partners. The Austro Agrar Tulln is a leading trade show in Austria with more than 300 exhibitors and approximately 56.000 visitors. As part of the Winter School at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, students spent two days working in interdisciplinary teams at an exciting hackathon to develop innovative solutions to specific challenges. 🧠🚀 Students from Chile, Germany, Israel and Canada used their creativity and expertise to tackle challenges in data analytics, business process automation, smart farming solutions and digital platforms for farmers. On the 21st of November, the participants presented their impressive results at a closing event at the Fendt site in Marktoberdorf, Germany. 💚 A big thank you to all participants and organisers who made this hackathon a great success. 🎉 Fendt employees celebrate 2,230 years with the company On 21 November, 120 Fendt employees celebrated their many years of service at the Fendt Forum. Ten employees celebrated 40 years with the company, 46 celebrated 25 years and 63 employees celebrated their 10th anniversary. In total, they have been with the company for 2,230 years. ☺️👏🏻 🎤 ’It is a wonderful tradition and at the same time an honour that we celebrate you as long-standing employees. Because with your dedication, commitment and loyalty, you have all played a significant role in the successes and milestones for Fendt. Today we would like to thank you not only for theser many years of loyalty, but also for the many moments, big and small, that you have shared with us. Your experience and knowledge are priceless, enrich our daily work together and are the breeding ground for future innovations", Walter Wagner, Managing Director of Research and Development at Fendt, greeted the guests with a short speech. 💚 50 years with Fendt and he still loves his job Michael Horn has worked for us for 50 years and stayed on even after his retirement. He began his apprenticeship as a mechanical fitter in 1972 and then, with a few interruptions, to futher his knowledge, worked in various areas of the company, such as testing, sales, export of municipal machines and later completely reorganised the training concept as head of field service training. His final position was sales representative for Fendt in southern Germany for 22 years. However, his enthusiasm for the Fendt brand was and is so great that he has been showing interested customer groups round the factory in Marktoberdorf as a factory guide since his retirement. On November 15th Michael Horn was even honoured at the Bavarian State Chancellery by Minister of State Ulrike Scharf for his many years of service. Impressions from Poland - the Fendt 600 Vario Roadshow 💚 During November and December, several events of a Fendt 600 Vario Roadshow will be held in Poland, to present the new Fendt tractor series to invited guests.  On 15 November one of these events took place on the premises of Raiffeisen Waren Poland, our distribution partner. 🏆 Fendt e100 Vario wins AgrarTec Award in Austria 🥳 At the machinery exhibition Austro Agrar in Tulln, Austria the battery-electric Fendt e100 Vario received the AgrarTec Award "Climate Fit for the future". "With this solution, Fendt shows how tractors in the lower horsepower range can be powered by battery-electric drives and "green electricity". This is good for the environment and also brings several other advantages", voted the jury including Heinrich Prankl, Rudolf Dietrich, Alexander Bauer, Wolfgang Strasser and Michael Stockinger. 💬 "Here at Austro Agrar, the Fendt e100 V Vario is on display for the first time in Austria at the joint stand of our sales partners under the leadership of ACA. Customers from Austria can now order both battery-electric tractor series: Not only the Fendt e100 V Vario, but also the recently launched Fendt e100 Vario. AGRICULTURE WORLDWIDE   Coasts characterised by deep fjords - partly rugged mountains and glaciers inland - steep valleys and vast forests in between – This is Norway! 🙌⛰️ What fascinates around 20 million tourists from all over the world every year are challenges for local agriculture. Due to the landscape conditions, most of the land can only be used for green harvesting - only 3% of the land is arable. In addition, the growing seasons are relatively short in northern regions. Due to Norway's northerly location, the days are quite short from September to March. However, this is partly compensated for by long days in summer.☀️   Despite those geographical and climatic challenges especially in the northern part of the country, Norwegian agricultural policy is focused on maintaining the agricultural acreage in all parts of the country. One of the main objectives written in this policy is “sustainable agriculture with lower emissions”. This requires sustainable technologies and new cultivation methods to reduce emissions, maintain soil quality and protect biodiversity.🌱 But the commitment to sustainability extends beyond agriculture. Norway and its Nordic neighbors are considered world leaders in the use of renewable energy, green technologies, and sustainable resource handling. In contrary to other European countries, Norway has already converted almost all of its electricity generation to renewable sources. In 2023, the share of renewables in Norway's total net electricity generation was around 99 per cent. It's a wrap for an enormously successful Agroteknikk in Norway 💚💚💚 Norway's largest agricultural trade fair, Agroteknikk, took place in Lillestrøm Oslo from 14 to 17 November. Agroteknikk is considered the leading agricultural trade fair in Scandinavia, a focal point for innovative technologies in the agricultural industry and was well attended. The Norwegian Minister of Agriculture and Food, Geir Pollestad, and the Minister of Finance, Trygve Slagsvold Vedum, also visited the Fendt stand.  Fendt presented various tractor series as well as forage harvesting technology. The Fendt e100 Vario made its first appearance after its market launch in September, but also the Fendt 620 Vario, the Fendt 728 Vario Gen7 and the Fendt Slicer 960 KCB attracted many visitors. The VIEW camera system was also presented for the first time in Norway.  Medals, medals, medals - Fendt wins 10 awards 🎉🎉🎉   “Winning the first gold award for the Fendt e100 Vario in our home market is a special honour for our team," says John Henrik Stadtler, Business Manager Fendt Norway. "We also won silver for our mower combination Fendt Slicer 960 KCB Pro and the new FendtONE functions Fendt Tramline Control and Implement Slope Compensation. In addition we received two silver medals for the View camera system and Smart Top Link. This makes us really proud.”  For the first time in the history of Agroteknikk, the ‘Godt tenkt’ or ‘Clever thinking’ award was presented for simple technical solutions that make life and work easier for farmers. Let's take a look back in time: the Dieselross Whether it was for mowing, plowing or pulling loads the Fendt Dieselross was always on hand. And It has always been more than just a workhorse, it was a faithful companion that supported in all phases of agricultural production.
