The European Union is leading a global shift with the #EUDR, requiring due diligence on human rights and environmental impacts in agricultural supply chains. With its latest announcement, the Commission has proposed giving concerned parties additional time to prepare. If approved this proposal would make the law applicable on 30 December 2025 for large and medium companies and 30 June 2026 for micro- and small enterprises. Following the extension proposal by European commission, the council of EU has now agreed on the postponement of implementation (see the press release: https://lnkd.in/esgNRq_e).
