I always use the term, "Copy and Paste"... When we talk abouts sytem scaffolding, we're essentially talking about a type of automation. 🔵 Uniformed distances between rosettes/pockets/cups etc. 🔵 Pre-defined lengths of ledgers, transoms, braces. 🔵 Pre-designated distances between ties, braces and safety features. Once you've set out (to a degree) it's rinse and repeat. Interestingly, it was this notion that led KEWAZO founder Artem Kuchukov to belive that #scaffolding was perfect environment for #robotics in construction. 🤖 When we talk about labour shortages, we only ever look at one end of the spectrum. 🤔 How do we get new people into construction, rather how do we keep the current people for longer. 📈 Someone has to pass this knowledge on, right? In my view, robotics and sytem scaffolding answer both of these questions. ✅️ Not only can we train people more quickly, have them work in a systemised and efficient way, we can also reduce the impact on their bodies which had a two fold impact. 🙌🏻 1. They have to manually move less materials, meaning a longer, healthier career. 2. Humans can can do the enjoyable parts of the job, FIXING and the robots can take care of the less enjoyable parts, CHAINING materials hand to hand. #construction #innovation #management #ithastobenasc
