🚀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝘂𝗽 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲? The second day of the Start-up Days offered the opportunity to deepen start-up knowledge in interactive sessions in addition to informative expert talks. We started the second day with an insightful presentation on the subject of #ProductMarketFit held by HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds, who we would like to thank for their kind support in contributing to the Start-up Days. Here are some key takeaways: 💡 Product-market fit for seed-stage start-ups is essential for success & survival 💡 Three main challenges especially in Industrial Tech: mindset, complex B2B value chain & decision processes, focus despite distractions 💡 Finding product-market fit is an iterative learning process fueled by failure with a high degree of uncertainty Afterwards, two parallel presentations took place. The sessions explored key themes such as the complexities of negotiating tech transfer agreements, and a deep dive into VC perspectives on start-up evaluation. 💻 Finally, interactive workshops offered practical guidance on talking to corporate customers, business model development, financial basics and pitch training. ✍️ The day ended with lively discussions over lunch, providing participants an ideal platform for networking with experts in financing, start-up creation, and technology transfer. We would like to thank all participants for their dedicated participation! We are very touched by your keen interest and your numerous questions. Moreover, a heartfelt thank you to all our speakers for sharing their expertise and making these Start-up Days so impactful!

🚀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗵𝘀 🚀 The Start-up Days 2024 kicked off successfully! Full of anticipation, we are already immersed in the first valuable sessions that are on the program. One of the highlights so far today was the keynote "Building Deep-Tech Companies - Best Practices and Lessons Learned" by Prof. Dr. Helmut Schoenenberger, CEO of UnternehmerTUM. His insights were of great value to anyone committed to turning innovation into impact. It was an inspiring, motivating and instructive session with Q&A. Here are some key takeaways: 💡 Every start-up starts small. Dare to just get started. 💡 Founding a start-up is not a sprint - it's a #marathon. 💡 To build up a strong #network, don't hesitate to ask alumni founders to give you advice, they are usually happy to help you. 💡 Look for collaborations with TTO (technology transfer offices), #entrepreneurship centers and #incubation programs and use the start-up infrastructure and offers. With this in mind: Let's get in touch with brilliant future #sciencepreneurs, explore innovative ideas and shape the future of science-based start-ups together! 🙌 PS: The joint Start-up Days are organized by the technology transfer offices of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft and the Max Planck Society for the twelfth time. #Fraunhofer #Leibniz #Helmholtz #MaxPlanck Fraunhofer Venture
