Is your building § 71a GEG-compliant? 🔊🔊 Big News – Thermosphr makes it possible by receiving the TÜV Rheinland Group certification! 🏛️ Hurry up! ⏳ In January 2025, the German Building Energy Act (GEG) will implement the new EU directive's requirements! 🌍🇪🇺 This amendment is part of ongoing efforts to align all European countries' national laws with the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), which aims to significantly enhance energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector across the EU. https://lnkd.in/d5yM5y_x As a result, achieving GEG compliance is not only a significant step for us in Germany 🇩🇪 but also aligns with regulations across Europe: In France 🇫🇷, the BACS Decree mandates that non-residential tertiary buildings with heating or air conditioning systems greater than 290 kW must implement automation and control systems by January 1, 2025. The same goes for: - the Technical Building Code (CTE) in Spain 🇪🇸 - the EPB (Energy Performance of Buildings) Regulation in Belgium 🇧🇪 - the Energy Efficiency Law in Poland 🇵🇱 Among many others, urging property owners to adhere to best-in-class energy management practices. Even the UK @ Energy Act 🇬🇧, while no longer an EU member, has initiated similar updates! The TÜV Rheinland Group certification involves a thorough evaluation of our systems against the highest international standards for quality and safety.
