🚀 #ThrowbackThursday: Our equity story shows its teeth at Austrian shark tank event 🦈 📍 Last Thursday, Alexander Kirschall, Vice President Retail Investors, was in Austria for a very special evening at the #ViennaStockExchange. 📊Hosted by organizer Finanzen verstehen, the Finfluencer X Corporates event provided a unique opportunity for private investors to gain insights into the equity stories of three interesting corporate players from very different industries – #Bechtle, #PORR and of course DHL Group.     🎤More of an investment slam than a regular IR event, each company had 10 minutes to pitch their equity story followed by Q&A sessions for the attendees to quiz the corporates on what makes their business a great investment.    👏It was a real pleasure to meet with such a young and interested crowd of private investors. It’s Black Friday!🛍️💻   Here at DHL Group, we’re already well into our peak season – and today’s purchases are sure to take shipping volumes to the next level.🚚📦But for the leader in global logistics, Black Friday is just part of the story.   📅 The fourth quarter also brings with it Singles Day in Asia as well Cyber Monday along with traditionally high holiday season volumes – and DHL Group expects a typical ramp up in B2C e-commerce shipments 🛒 throughout Q4. In fact, peak season is a family affair across DHL Group, with all of the divisions well-prepared to offer high-quality services despite the expected spike in shipment volumes.   Around 5,000 temporary workers and some 500 additional robots are deployed at Supply Chain and the tireless team at Post & Parcel Germany – which is being bolstered by around 10,000 temporary staff to cater to an estimated 11 million or more parcels per day at peak times – DHL Group is making sure its set up for success. We’re already halfway through the month but with a roadshow calendar this packed, there are still plenty of opportunities to connect with DHL Group’s Investor Relations team this year! 🌍So don’t delay and grab your diaries! 📆   Our colleagues were straight out on the road following the release of the Group’s Q3 financial figures and they’re not easing up any time soon! Following on from a run of international dates stateside and in Europe, the IR team is representing the Group across Germany in the second half of November. Group CFO Melanie Kreis was again out on the road with the IR team at selected events in November. 🗓️First up, right after Q3 results, Melanie hosted a Roadshow in Frankfurt on November 6 organized by Metzler, joined by Head of IR Martin Ziegenbalg. 📍The following stop was London to attend the UBS European Conference on November 12 after hosting a sell-side breakfast with our London-based analysts in the morning. 📊Following on the publication of the Group’s Q3 figures at the start of the month, it was very helpful to be able to address the main talking points in more detail.
