Our COO, Jørgen Brøndgaard Nielsen, gave a heartfelt speech, reminding us all that a 20-year journey is filled with both wonderful moments and challenging ones. There are fun times with various colleagues and friends—and tougher times when, as a leader, you face difficult decisions. Through it all, Søren has handled everything with unwavering professionalism and a steadfast commitment to Gatehouse’s success. Over these 20 years, Søren has been instrumental in shaping the technology that Gatehouse Satcom is built upon. He has been a constant presence in the dynamic and demanding world of satellite communication. Chief of the Danish Army, Major General Peter Boysen, visits Gatehouse Satcom to explore the future of advanced communication. Today, we are proud to welcome Major General Peter Harling Boysen to our headquarters in Denmark. The Major General was appointed Chief of the Danish Army in May 2024, having served Denmark’s interests with numerous deployments and leadership roles in crisis zones, including Afghanistan, the Middle East, and the former Yugoslavia, to name a few. Gatehouse Satcom and our sister company, Gatehouse Maritime, have a long tradition of supplying technology to defense organizations. Given the current geopolitical climate, our solutions are more relevant than ever. At today’s meeting, Gatehouse CEO Kenney Schmidt Christiansen, alongside COO Jørgen Brøndgaard Nielsen, Commercial Director Ole Madsen, and other key members of our team, introduced the Major General and Major Rasmus Carøe Christensen to our technology. More importantly, we demonstrated how secure, always-connected communication networks can make a difference in times of crisis or conflict.
