🌍 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 🌍 At the beginning of December, education experts and global leaders gathered in Paris for the 23rd International Economic Forum on Africa 2024. Organised by the OECD - OCDE Development Centre and the African Union Commission in cooperation with ASCI - The African Sports & Creative Institute, Agence Française de Développement and CDP Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the forum centered on the future of education and skills in Africa. 🤝 Representing our organisation's commitment to strengthening ties with Africa, our President attended the forum to actively engage in discussions and explore collaborative opportunities. This marked an important step in fostering partnerships that aim to empower Africa's growing youth population through entrepreneurship, innovation, and education. The insight sessions focusing on the need for better foundational education, investment in STEM and digital skills and strategies to prepare young people for emerging job markets provided a strong foundation for our ambitions to further expand our presence and impact of Junior Entrepreneurship in Africa. 🌟 Our discussions revealed a mutual interest in building bridges between African talent and global opportunities. With Africa set to account for 85% of the global increase in working-age populations by 2050, the potential for impactful collaboration is vast. We are excited to build on these initial conversations and work towards creating sustainable connections that benefit students and young professionals alike. The future of Africa’s workforce is bright, and we are proud to play a part in supporting its development. 📣 Stay tuned for updates on how these discussions evolve into actionable projects in 2025!
