The season is over and we can't wait for it to start again.   Once again the battle was fierce. Once again the crowds were out in force. And once again, our tires were up to the challenge, with a single motto: performance made to last.   In the bitter cold, in the arid desert, in the pouring rain or in the middle of the night at Le Mans, our teams have overcome every obstacle, and have contributed to the great moments of this past motorsport season.   We race to test, to learn, to find answers, to discover innovative ways, to make the impossible possible, to improve the way we all move.   Motorsport enables us to acquire the kind of specific knowledge that only competition can bring, working with demanding vehicle manufacturers and partners who share the same challenges in the interest of sustainable, increasingly decarbonized mobility. We don't race for glory. We race for change. Learn more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eefwDD9w

What if industries could find substitutes for traditional toxic molecules? That's what our new groundbreaking innovation is all about! Araminolic chemistry has been unveiled yesterday to over 120 leading industrial companies in Ville de Paris at the MAISON DE LA CHIMIE. After 15 years of development, Michelin is bringing this innovative breakthrough in thermoset resins from our lab to new applications under the MICHELIN ResiCare brand. 🌱 A Safer and More Sustainable Alternative 🌱 In line with the European Union's goals, Araminolic chemistry was designed as a safer and more sustainable alternative to traditional Phenolic chemistry. By removing concerning molecules like formaldehyde and selecting bio-based options, our resins offer similar performance to Phenolic resins without Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). Another proof of our expertise in composite materials. 🌍 Solutions for Various Sectors 🌍 With a dedicated R&D team 🔬 and a new ecosystem of technical partners, Michelin ResiCare is developing a range of solutions for various markets: industry, transportation, building and construction, space and defense, electronics and electrical. With Michelin ResiCare, industries can now create the products of the future without having to choose between performance and healthier options.

Michelin and Brembo revolutionize vehicle performance! Michelin and Brembo have signed a global agreement to combine their intelligent solutions, leveraging algorithms, expertise, and know-how related to brakes and tires. The collaboration brings together Brembo’s excellence in braking systems, vehicle modeling, and artificial intelligence with our leadership in tire modeling and algorithm development. This synergy allows for the continuous exchange of real-time data between the tire and the braking system. And the results from the initial tests are more than promising: 🔹Braking distance reductions of up to four meters during ABS events. 🔹Quicker response time, minimized traction loss, improved lateral stability and prevention of wheel locking. 🔹A smoother and more comfortable driving experience overall. With this partnership, we are setting a new benchmark for automotive safety and performance! Learn more ▶️ https://lnkd.in/eqxQV2Ku #Innovation #Safety #Automotive #Partnership #Technology

Michelin believes in the potential of RFID technology in tires and its contribution to tire circularity. What's RFID? A specific technology allowing tires to be identified and provide access to information throughout their lifecycle. Today, Michelin is engaged in several projects aimed at promoting this solution. An example? We recently announced that we will be working hand in hand with REGOM to advance the professionalization of the end-of-life tire sorting industry. This initiative builds on the success of the European Union's CIRPASS-2 project, leveraging the expertise of Michelin and its partners to test RFID technology for the implementation of a digital passport for tires. This will enable: - Design and promote more sustainable tires; - Provide easy access to tire information to better retread and recycle them; - Identify valorization channels to recover material from end-of-life tires. Learn more about RFID technology in this video bellow ⬇️ ⬇️ . #RFID #CircularEconomy #Innovation

Sometimes an event is all it takes to tell a good story! Especially when it's one of the biggest trade fairs in the world, welcoming almost a million visitors and more than 4,000 accredited journalists. At the China International Import Expo (CIIE), our teams hosted thousands of people on an immersive booth that told our story. A story of matter and motion, allowing visitors to immerse themselves at the heart of the experiences provided by Michelin's innovations. With a prototype of our moon wheel, a tire made from 71% recycled and renewable materials and an immersive cinema, they were able to fully embrace what makes Michelin unique.   Kudos to all our teams involved in this beautiful project.

Although the kitchens listed in our Guide are remarkable, they don’t make the best places to sleep. A cutting board doesn't make for a comfy mattress, and the clatter of cutlery is no lullaby.   What the unfortunate protagonist of this video didn't know was that he could have used The MICHELIN Guide website or app to book the world's best hotels, carefully and independently selected by our inspectors.   Just like restaurants, the Guide awards one, two or three MICHELIN keys to around 1,400 hotels from an international selection of over 6,000 outstanding establishments. Places that significantly add to your experience as a traveler! Hope you'll enjoy watching this MICHELIN Guide’s very first UK brand campaign, created by BETC and directed by Danny Sangra.
