MILLET® RECLAIM CHAMONIX. Tested and certified in Chamonix, MILLET® was founded in Annecy, nestled in the heart of the French Alps. Since 1921, we’ve been accompanying mountaineers and peak lovers on their journeys. Our clothing, backpacks, shoes, sleeping bags, and accessories are crafted for all your explorations. The mountains are our privileged laboratory for testing and learning. The experiences of our community are a rich source of innovation for our development teams. Think of the journey we’ve traveled together, from the first nylon bag used by Walter Bonatti in the 60s to Christophe Profit’s Gore-tex suit in ‚87, and the Everest shoe in 2000 seen on the 8000-meter Himalayan peaks. More recently, the Trilogy 15+ bags and Pierra Ment Evo. This equipment consistently meets the demands for fast and light mountain practices. We’ve always supported those who write the history of mountaineering: Lachenal, Bonatti, Messner, Profit, Desmaison, and more recently, Charles Dubouloz and Symon Welfringer. Committed to our community, we partner with prestigious guide companies in Chamonix, Grindelwald, Cervin, and Hakuba in Japan. The spirit of collaboration that guides every mountain enthusiast in their quest for the unknown inspires us daily. In constant exchange with these experts, we develop reliable, durable, and adaptable products. Passionate and committed, we evolve with mountains, limiting our impact and protecting biodiversity. MILLET®’s story is also a family ascent, started by Marc and continued by his wife Hermance in 1938, who brought their sons René and Raymond into the venture. They began supplying the first backpacks to the big names in mountaineering. Today, Romain and Jean Pierre Millet, the great-grandson and grandson of the founders, passionately continue the Millet brand’s legacy. #MILLET _ © Outdoor Perspectives Antoine Mesnage | Alexandre Chambet | Justin Galant | Ugo Arielli | Olivier Daubry

"𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀": 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹. 35 days of expedition. 450 km of kayaking. 1,200 m of climbing. 35 pitches. 25 abseils. So many numbers that will never fully capture the emotions experienced. Symon Welfringer and his three companions, Matteo Della Bordella, Silvan Schupbach, and Alex Gammeter, set off last August on an extraordinary expedition to Greenland. 🐻❄️ Their goal? To conquer a 1,200 m big wall, a giant of untouched granite, to be reached after 450 km of kayaking between icebergs. This untamed terrain would become the scene of an unexpected adventure, with the feel of an odyssey. "Le Cavalier sans Tête" | "The Headless Horseman" 🎬 Disappointment and illness. Separation and doubt. Freezing cold, abyssal emptiness, and death lurking. In the merciless snows of the Himalayas, Charles Dubouloz and Symon Welfringer discover that the joy of life lies, perhaps above all, on these perilous paths. On their first expedition to Manaslu, their illusions collapse. The prestige of fourteen peaks over eight thousand meters loses its luster. Our two mountaineers abandon symbols in search of the very essence of their passion. They find themselves at the foot of Gyachung Kang, a mountain as terrible as it is magnificent. Despite being forty-eight meters shorter than the famous giants, it remains ignored. It is here that the art and daring of the new mountaineering pioneers can fully express themselves. As fate would have it, illness temporarily separated them. But they discover that unexpected beauty is often revealed in the unexpected. When bad weather strikes at the dawn of success, at the end of effort and talent, friendship, laughter, and willpower triumph over all. Soon to be seen in festivals!
