The year has started very good for us. 🤩 After months of reading and hard work, it is finally here! Our new article titled "On the Concepts, Methods, and Use of "Probability of Success" for Drug Development Decision Making: A Scoping Review" provides an overview of all available approaches for calculating probability of success of a Phase III trial using all available data and exploring the ways for incorporating Real World data (RWD) that can improve such calculations. It has been published few days ago by CPT, American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics. I am deeply grateful to Laura Rodwell, Muhammad Bergas Nur Fayyad, Kit Roes, Ce JIANG, Florie Bouvier, Celine Beji, Sonia Zebachi, Ghinwa Hayek, Billy AMZAL, Raphael Porcher, Julien Tanniou for collaboration throughout this journey together. The European medicines regulatory network’s vision for clinical evidence by 2030 has just been published! This scientific article describes 6 guiding principles for generating excellent clinical evidence: 🔹 Every step of clinical evidence generation will be further guided by the patient voice; 🔹 Existing data and knowledge will further inform generation of clinical evidence; 🔹 Study design will be driven by research questions; 🔹 Clinical trials will be more efficient and impactful; 🔹 Real-world evidence will be enabled and its value fully established; 🔹 Trust will be built through transparency. We welcome all actors to apply these principles for excellent clinical evidence. Since we know that our followers may have questions and interesting views, we want to facilitate a discussion opportunity on this topic. Lors de la clôture du Sommet de Paris pour l’Action sur l’IA le 11 février, le ministre de la Santé a annoncé des mesures concrètes pour accélérer l’adoption d’une IA responsable en santé : 🚀 Lancement de l’AMI "Nouvelles approches méthodologiques sur la recherche clinique", un levier stratégique pour positionner la France en leader sur : 🔹 Les cohortes artificielles/synthétiques 🔹 Les essais simulés 🔹 L’innovation pour les maladies rares et neurodégénératives ⚖️ Une loi de simplification pour faciliter le déploiement de l’IA dans la santé avant l’été.
