🚀 Incredibly excited to announce that our team clinched 3rd place at the prestigious Bio x AI Hackathon 2024! 🏆 During an exhilarating 48-hour challenge, our team of four brilliant minds tackled the complex challenge of drug repurposing for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) 🧬 Our innovative approach was two-pronged: we first leveraged collaborative filtering algorithms to identify promising drug candidates, followed by conducting sophisticated in silico clinical trials using real-world data to validate our findings. The culmination of our efforts resulted in a compelling interface to explore the characteristics and results of drug candidates for AD that we presented to an esteemed panel of judges. 🔬🧫 This groundbreaking hackathon brought together 30+ exceptional talents at the cutting edge of biotechnology and AI. Being selected from a competitive pool of hundreds of applicants was truly humbling, and connecting with such innovative minds was inspiring. 🌟 I'm grateful to my great teammates - Stanislas du Ché, Thomas L. and Julien BLANCHON.
