Smart Airport Systems joined last weeks 'Towards Sustainable Aviation Summit 2025' where Frédéric Van Oost took part in the round table discussion on 'Operation Decarbonisation'. One of the key takeaways from this important aviation event was the ability for SAS to highlight real-world examples of the TaxiBot solution being used in various locations, including Schiphol Airport, where its mission to reduce noise pollution and UFP (ultra fine particles) whilst increasing fuel savings is well documented. The event was highly successful and offered a great opportunity to emphasise the importance of the innovative TaxiBot solution and its key importance in the world of sustainable aircraft taxiing. #LeanerAndGreener #TaxiBot #SmartAirportSystems

🚀 Major Milestone in Sustainable Taxiing at Schiphol! 🌍✈️ Smart Airport Systems is proud to see the first KLM passenger flight brought to the Polderbaan Runway using the Taxibot — a major step forward in reducing emissions and improving sustainability at Schiphol Airport! The Taxibot allows aircraft to taxi without running their engines, saving fuel and significantly cutting CO₂ emissions. This is part of a larger effort to make Schiphol quieter, cleaner, and more sustainable, aligning with our goal of reducing aviation's environmental impact. This week’s GSE Expo Europe, Lisbon has been the perfect vehicle for TLD, Smart Airport Systems and AERO Specialties to showcase their latest products and innovations at this year’s key industry event. The sales team were impressed with the sheer volume of visitors to the stand and whilst it was a great opportunity to catch up with existing customers to discuss the latest GSE technology. However, it also allowed us to welcome new visitors to our ‘Alvest family’ and discuss our Leaner & Greener program - designed to benefit their operation whilst safeguarding the environment. With that in mind, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to every person that took the time to visit STAND EX13 and spend time with our Sales, Technical and Global Management Teams.
