🇪🇺EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe, Vienna, 2024 Just back from the annual meeting, where we were able to present our latest study as part of the congress' "best of shows" (the 10 best congress presentations). Even if we didn't win, we're happy to share the results with you 🩻LDH: Endo vs open 🤕1067 patients After matching: 2 groups of 345 patients with the same characteristics 👨🏽⚕️Surgeons experience in the technique: 9 y in the open group, 1 y in the endoscopic group 📊No difference in functional results at 3 months. Fewer dural tears ( p=0.02 ) and no infection in the endoscopic group. ✅Conclusion: similar functional results right from the learning curve. Endoscopy for LDH is safe and efficient. 🏆Congratulations on Sleiman Haddad for the Best Communication Award! 🙌🏼 thanks to the presidents and future presidents for this great event!
