  • Dabethon Group Empowers Youth to Turn Waste into Gold! As a team of passionate sustainability advocates, we at Dabethon Group are thrilled to share the success of our recent waste management training for the students of J.A. Kuffour SHS. This impactful initiative was made possible through our partnership with the Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF), Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, with generous sponsorship from Bloomberg Philanthropies and United Cities and Local Governments. During the training, our Dabethon experts guided the school's sanitation club members on how to transform organic waste into nutrient-rich compost - a valuable resource for growing healthy plants and gardens. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive learning, we equipped these young environmental champions with essential skills to drive positive change in their community. Watching the students' faces light up as they discovered the magic of composting was truly inspiring. Their boundless enthusiasm is a testament to the power of empowering youth to be agents of sustainability. At Dabethon, we believe that education is the cornerstone of environmental stewardship. By collaborating with forward-thinking partners like YCAF, we're able to create impactful programs that cultivate the next generation of green leaders. This is just the beginning of our sustainability journey. • 🌱🌍 Exciting Weekend for Climate Action! 🌍🌱 This weekend, Dabethon Group made strides in managing waste and supporting sustainable farming practices in Kumasi. With the generous support from Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Bloomberg Philanthropies, United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), Perron Ghana, and Aqualink Ghana, we donated two 1000L bins to Kumasi Technical Senior High School and J.A. Kuffour SHS. Our team members Gideon Osei Agyemang and Laar Robert Yadama presented these bins on our behalf. Management at the Schools were thankful to the gesture and pleaded that more of these interventions would be instrumental to the growth of the schools performance. These bins will aid in composting organic food waste into fertilizers for vegetable farming, while helping manage plastic and paper waste through recycling for revenue generation. We are excited to see the impact this will have on the environment and the schools’ sustainability efforts. 🌱 Together, we are building a greener, more sustainable future. Let's keep pushing for change! 💪 Follow our media outlets for more upcoming news!!! #climateaction #sustainability #wastemanagement #youthforclimate #composting #circulareconomy #Kumasi
