Since God elevated Fab Hub Ashanti to a residential learning space in Aboabo Kesse 2 years ago, we: - have trained over 40 women in the community in soap and yogurt making, plus given them some tools to start their businesses - consistently train and mentor over 100 youth in our monthly Fab Youth Camp program - have built and donated the Aboabo Kesse Health Center to the chief and people of the community - have plans of doing more🙏🏾 Support from our development partners have gone a long way. In addition, the use of our facilities for retreats, meetings, training programs, overnight stays and events help us raise funds internally to continue doing the work we do. 🌟FAB SKILLS TRAINING 2024🌟 On Saturday 23rd November 2024, we brought Fab Skills Training to Asiwa in the Bosome Freho District, training 31 women entrepreneurs on Financial Literacy and it was such a rewarding experience! We kicked things off with Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah from Opportunity Bank, who shared insights on accessing banking products for small businesses. He encouraged the women to open accounts with credible banks to access loans and explained how insurance safeguards loans during unforeseen challenges. Mr. Isaac Afenu from OZÉ followed with an engaging session on Basic Bookkeeping Tips. He emphasized keeping daily income and expenditure records whether in a notebook or digitally in order to track business growth. While he acknowledged it could be time-consuming, the benefits far outweigh the challenges. Mr. Duncan from Zenith Bank came in lastly with a brief advice to participants on the importance of saving and not using their capital to buy personal stuff. Adding a creative twist to the day, Fab Youth Camp Lead Counselor, Gyamasi led a hands-on session on making headbands, which the women absolutely loved! And ofcourse, we had a lot of fun!🎉 We’re deeply grateful to all our speakers, the invited guests, and especially the Nananom of Bobiem and Asiwa for their unwavering support. A big thank you to our incredible Asiwa counselors, who worked tirelessly from planning to organizing and ensuring the final day went off without a hitch. This annual Fab Skills Training is just one of the ways The Fabulous Woman Network empowers women across Ghana. And we couldn’t do it without you—every event held at Fab Hub Ashanti helps fund programs like this.
