The Mandalorian and Grogu
Youtuber Kristian Harloff and Bespin Bulletin both report that minor Clone Wars character Embo (voiced by Dave Filoni in the animated series) will be a primary antagonist in the film, which will purportedly revolve around the titular duo being tasked with rescuing Rotta the Hutt from being targeted by bounty hunter.
The Bride!
During a recent interview with THR, actor John Magaro teased the tone of Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Bride of Frankenstein movie.
It’s like a mix of a Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers movie, Young Frankenstein, Frankenstein, Bonnie and Clyde and Badlands. It’s just a wild, fun ride. It’s something that people haven’t seen before, and I’m really excited to get it in front of an audience. It’s bonkers.

Alice the Mad/Poohniverse: Monsters Assembled
Producer Scott Chambers discussed his plans for “Phase 2” of the “Twisted Childhood Universe” with Screen Rant, which include a third Blood and Honey movie, a Tigger spinoff, and an Alice and Wonderland horror film about an escort agency.
A hundred percent. There’s Phase 2, which we have. We’ve already announced some of them. So Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3, Tigger’s Return, which is going to be a Tigger standalone film because everyone responded quite well to Tigger, so he’s going to get a standalone. Then the next one I think I’m going to direct is Alice the Mad. And at the minute, I’m enjoying exploring the idea that basically it’s set at an escorting agency, which is called the White Rabbit. And Alice is an escort, which is a sex worker, and the Mad Hatter becomes obsessed with her. And for me, the references are a film called Opera, A little bit of Maniac with Elijah Wood and a bit of MaXXXine in there maybe as well. I’m excited for that.
Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare
Speaking of the “Twisted Childhood Universe,” you can now watch Peter Pan scalp Wendy in a very violent clip from Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare.
Renner
Elsewhere, an A.I. voiced by Marica Gay Harden helps Frankie Muniz become more confident–with murderous results–in the trailer for Renner.
Cobra Kai
In another recent interview with Screen Rant, composer Zach Robinson warned the final five minutes of Cobra Kai will be “emotional.”
I’m not going to lie, it was pretty intimidating to watch those last 15 minutes of season 6, episode 10, but I think we have grown so much as just composers and our writing has gotten better because this show has consistently pushed us every single year. You can’t say that about a lot of projects that you work on.
There’s stuff in the next block where we got really emotional writing it because it kind of mirrors our own journeys on this show—the growth and the experience and stuff. It’s for sure an emotional last five, I will say that.
Castlevania: Nocturne
Finally, Netflix has released a trailer for the second season of Castlevania: Nocturne set to the strains of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.
