The Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa (IHRDA) is a pan-African non governmental organisation based in Banjul, The Gambia. IHRDA works through: • defend: offering pro bono legal counsel for victims of human rights abuses in Africa; • educate: conducting training and other capacity-building efforts on the African Human Rights System and other human rights issues; • inform: publishing and distributing information on the African Human Rights System.
