🚀On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the fourth capacity-building workshop in the educational series of the COALition project , part of the Horizon Europe program– successfully concluded. The workshop was titled "Commercialization Process" and was held at Kozani's Co-Working Space Co-Working Space Western Macedonia . 🛠️Organized by the Greek consortium partners (Regional Development Fund of Western Macedonia, PPC S.A., Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Just Transition Institute Greece, and KiNNO INNOVATION INTERMEDIARIES), the seminar focused on the following key topics: 🔑 Steps for Commercializing an Idea and securing it through intellectual property regulations. 🔑 Market Analysis & Business Planning, including funding and investments. 🔑 Marketing Strategies and product scaling. The presentation was delivered by Evangelos Nomikos , Scientific Associate at CERTH, who shared valuable knowledge and expertise on the commercialization process. 📢📢 Entrepreneurship at the Core of the 3rd COALition capacity-building Workshop The 3rd capacity-building workshop  in the COALition project, part of the Horizon Europe program was successfully conducted, at the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani on the afternoon of November 28, lead by KiNNO INNOVATION INTERMEDIARIES 🔍 Workshop Focus The training session centered on key concepts of business strategy, with a focus on: Analyzing the internal and external business environment. Formulating strategies, as well as the processes of implementation, evaluation, and control. Understanding and applying the Business Model, with an in-depth look at the Business Model Canvas (BMC). The CARBONICA project was presented during the 2nd COALition Hubs Seminar, titled 'Innovative Farming Methods and Carbon Farming,' held in November 20, 2024 at the premises of Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)'s CPERI institute in Ptolemaida. Representing the Coordinator, reframe.food's George Papapostolou, Project Manager of CARBONICA, highlighted the project's importance in advancing carbon farming within the 3 ecosystems of 📍Cyprus, Greece, North Macedonia and beyond, and exemplified the potential benefits that #CarbonFarming holds for farmers. Moreover, from i-BEC, Mr. BASILIS ROUSSONIKOLOS elaborated on the carbon farming (CF) methodology, and Mr. Thodoris Akritidis showcased the application of the field diagnostic toolkit for sampling and measurement, providing valuable practical insights into its implementation to event participants.
