From electronics to green technologies, precious minerals play a crucial part! 🌍 But that's not all – we also introduced students to the 𝟯𝗗𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲, a multimedia educational tool that lets them virtually explore underground and open mines, while also discovering minerals in 3D! The students were full of energy, asking insightful questions and diving deep into the experience! 🛠️🎓 Additionally, we had the pleasure of introducing students to the 3DRETURN Project, that we have the honor to coordinate. This initiative aims to develop audio-visual media in order to educate children and individuals with disabilities about Greece's mineral resources. 💎 Special thanks go to Byron College - The British International School and all the students for their active participation. You made this workshop a success! 🙏 We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mark Rachovides and Euromines for the invaluable liaison in organizing and making this workshop possible. 🙌 💻 If you want to keep the learning going, check out the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 at the following link: https://lnkd.in/dGbiDDr 🎮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘂𝗺: Fundacion Gómez Pardo, Euromines, CSIC, Inštitut SeMe, okoljsko ozaveščanje in trajnostni razvoj, Poljčane, Univerzitet u Banjoj Luci, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Monolithos Catalysts & Recycling Ltd., Technical University of Košice, National Technical University of Athens, University of Miskolc, Marble, Stone and Materials Technology Center, Geological Survey of Estonia, Comune di Vimercate - Biblioteca Civica, University "Goce Delcev" at Stip, Mineralogical Museum gaio-ORAMA, Masaryk University, ONG GEÓLOGOS DEL MUNDO - WORLD GEOLOGISTS, Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto #BriefcaseProject #MONOLITHOS #Workshop #Education #Sustainability #Minerals #PGMRecycling #FutureInnovators #Mining #MineralAwareness
