    🌟✨ TOCHI LAB and Ceramics Cycle at Learning and Teaching Expo 2024! ✨🌟 We’re excited to announce that TOCHI LAB and Ceramics Cycle will be featured at the highly anticipated Learning & Teaching Expo 2024. This milestone is made possible through the generous support of Meta Dot Limited, a leading educational technology company and pioneer in STEAM education, who have graciously shared their booth with us. We are truly grateful for this opportunity to showcase our work at one of the premier events for education and innovation. At the expo, we’ll highlight Ceramics Cycle, an initiative that combines art, sustainability, and education, especially how we feature in their Smart Ocean IoT STEAM Course. From repurposing discarded ceramics into ceramic bio-rocks for coral rehabilitation to fostering community awareness through SDG-focused workshops, we aim to inspire new thought processes regarding sustainability in education and beyond.     🌟 Thank You, HKTDC Entrepreneur Day 2024! 🌟 It was an absolute pleasure to participate in the HKTDC Entrepreneur Day 2024 as part of the HKBU representation, a big thanks for the invitation from Becky Poon and the HKBU Career Centre. Over two days at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, we showcased our Ceramics Cycle project, highlighting the journey of transforming discarded ceramics into sustainable resources, transforming recycled ceramic clay into ceramics bio-rocks designed to support coral rehabilitation and biodiversity. The energy, conversations, and exchange of ideas with individuals passionate about sustainability and innovation were incredibly engaging. It was great to connect with so many like-minded people, share our mission, and see the interest in turning waste into opportunity. A huge thank you to the HKBU Career Center Team assisting us for the expo and all fellow exhibitors, and all the visitors who stopped by to learn more about TOCHI LAB and our vision for an eco-friendlier future.     TOCHI LAB and Ceramics Cycle at the 2024 Boao Forum for Asia Youth Summit! We are incredibly proud to have represented Hong Kong Baptist University Start-up Team at the Boao Forum for Asia Youth Summit 2024. A heartfelt thank you Becky Poon inviting us in this remarkable event. The summit provided platform to showcase Ceramics Cycle, our initiative that combines creativity, sustainability, and environmental restoration. We demonstrated how recycled ceramic clay can be transformed into ceramic bio-rocks, supporting coral rehabilitation and enhancing biodiversity.  also an opportunity to connect with and inspire the next generation. Engaging with a diverse audience of young leaders and visionaries was truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and joined us in championing sustainable practices.   • What an amazing weekend! We hosted our Ceramics Cycle Soap Dish Hand-building Workshop at GREEN@KWUN TONG and the turnout exceeded our expectations. It was especially heartwarming to see parents and children creating their unique pieces together, bringing so much creativity and joy to the process. It reminded us of how art and sustainability can bridge generations while encouraging new ways of looking at waste and recycling. Participants got hands-on experience creating unique soap dish using recycled ceramic materials, showing that art and sustainability can go hand in hand.     We're thrilled to announce that TOCHI LAB will run a Ceramics Cycle- Soap Dish Hand-building Workshop occurring at「易」手裸買雜貨店. 📅 28 September 🕚 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM 📍GREEN@KWUN TONG, 27 Sheung Yee Road, Kowloon Bay The feedback at our booth last weekend was amazing and we excited to keep that momentum progressing. During this workshop, you’ll get a deeper understanding of how ceramics can be recycled and recieve a firsthand look into how ceramics recycling works. We at TOCHI LAB are so excited to see everyone there and discuss more about what we do! Please register through the QR code if you’re interested in creating your soap dish. Seats are limited, first come, first serve.

  • We’re excited to be part of the 「惜」創「惜」玩 綠遊派對 in this weekend. Details are as follows: 📅 14-15 September 🕚 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM 📍GREEN@KWUN TONG, 27 Sheung Yee Road, Kowloon Bay With support from Two Parts Studio, we’ve brought a selection of new pieces from ceramics waste we collected. Feel free to drop by and take one home as a souvenir. We’re also offering some incense holders made from Ceramics Cycle, which demonstrate how ceramic waste can be reimagined into something beautiful and practical. If you're in the area, stop by booth 11! It’s a great chance to learn more about our working towards a more sustainable future in ceramics.

  • We’re delighted to have participated in the Golden Age Foundation's GAES24 event, showcasing our "Ceramics for Golden Years" Scheme at the Centre for Innovation Service-Learning booth. We focused on the "Ceramics for Golden Years" initiative, demonstrating how ceramics can enhance elderly care. To provide these creative and educational experiences, we offer on-site workshops for elderly centres. We aim to equip seniors with new skills and provide a fulfilling, sustainable activity at their centres. Special thanks to everyone at the Centre for Innovative Service-Learning for their innovation and organisation of such an impactful event. The interactions and feedback were incredibly rewarding, and we’re proud to be part of this innovative community.   • We enjoyed participating in the Arts Ambassador Bazaar, an event organised by HKADC-AAISS. It was an enriching experience filled with creativity and community spirit. During the workshops, our art ambassadors craft their unique ceramic pieces. From intricate designs to playful creations, seeing such diverse and imaginative works was inspiring. We had the opportunity to share insights about the Ceramics Cycle with a new generation of art ambassadors. Discussing how we can make art more sustainable and impactful was truly rewarding. A big thank you to HKADC-AAISS for their fantastic support and for making the Arts Ambassador Bazaar memorable.   • We’re still buzzing from the energy and creativity of our first event dedicated to ceramics and sustainability for Wong Tai Sin's elderly community. Seeing everyone crafting beautiful pieces, learning about recycling ceramics and embracing the experience was amazing. Thank you to TriAngle at the Centre for Innovative Service-Learning for the warm invitation and support that made this event possible. Centre for Innovative Service-Learning at the BOC Life 9th Golden Age Expo & Summit now!
